The Range Reserve Force (RRF), Rajshahi was established in 1978 and is situated on 10.34 acres of land on the west side of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) office in the divisional town of Rajshahi. The RRF is headed by a Commandant (Additional DIG). On the instructions of Range DIG, Rajshahi the Range Reserve Force was immediately deployed to maintain law and order in the district under the range. At present RRF policemen are performing security duties in Bangladesh Bank, Bogra, BPA, Sarada, Rajshahi along with 05 (five) police camps in Chapainawabganj, Natore, Pabna and Joypurhat districts. This range reserve force performs VVIP, VIP, KPI, bank escort, election and many other essential duties. From 10th October, 2010 RRF, Rajshahi Bangladesh Police Academy imparts basic training to Bangladesh Police Recruit Constables under the supervision of Sarda.
